Our Mission
The DSRA Benefit Trust manages a Voluntary Employees Beneficiary Association (VEBA) that provides healthcare and life insurance programs for eligible Delphi Salaried and Hourly retirees.
Our mission is to ensure that eligible retirees have access to quality, affordable healthcare coverage and life insurance benefits. We work diligently to provide excellent service, maintain transparent operations, and protect the interests of our members.

What is a VEBA?
Voluntary Employees Beneficiary Association
A VEBA is a tax-exempt trust established under Section 501(c)(9) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is designed to provide benefits to members, their dependents, and designated beneficiaries.

- Tax-Exempt Status: VEBAs are exempt from federal income tax, allowing funds to be used more efficiently for member benefits.
- Member-Focused: The trust exists solely to provide benefits to eligible members and their families.
- Governed by Trustees: A Board of Directors oversees the trust's operations and ensures compliance with all legal requirements.
- Regulated: VEBAs must comply with federal regulations, including ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act).
